  •  (C)       It is interesting to note that Agulu~Transitio'n Committee has set the ball rolling for an enduring peace programme in Agulu by successfully holding the peace- re-unification rally on the 27th of July, 2002 at Agulu Town Hall.
  •  (D)       The peace- re-unification rally achieved the following;
  • i.          For the first time in twelve years of this crisis, brothers.sisters. inlaws, Uinuada. Nwadiana and relations sat down together. ate and drank to every body's satisfaction without fear.
  •  ii.          The lgweship tusslel/dispute between chief Chike P. Ozue (Ochendo) and lgwe I.E Obodoakor was settled. Chief Chike Ozue for the first time publicly recognized lgwe I.E. Obodoakor as the lgwe Ill of Agulu and announced the immediate withdrawal of the court case relating to lgwe stool. This landmark gesture of love was not only historic but symbolic; and accordingly was greeted with loud ovation and shout of Hallelujah! To God be the Glory from the crowd.
  •  iii.         At the peace-rally there was rain of the Naira in support of the peace programmes of the Agultj Transition Committee by Agulu sons and daughters.
  •  iv.         Lest we forget, before the peace-rally took place. committed sons of Agulu visited churches in Agulu -Anglicans. Roman Catholics. Pentecostals. etc, even traditional worshipers. - and passed the message of return of peace to Agulu before the congregation. The message was received with joy and happiness.
  •
