Scenes like this are still very common. This one room class caters to roughly 3 dozen children. Chalkboard, slates and chalk comprise the technology, just as in the 1950’s.
IAD is hoping to address issues like this by providing books and supplies to the many local schools serving tomorrow’s leaders in the formative stage of their lives.
